Omni Shop Guardian (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of barbers, stylists, salon owners, and their clients. When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, shop address, and payment details. This information is used to create and secure your account, process subscriptions, and provide customer support.

Booking and appointment details

We collect appointment dates, times, services, provider names, client contact information, notes, and payment history. This data powers your calendar, reminders, closeout reports, and client relationship management.

Client data

You may choose to store client names, phone numbers, email addresses, service preferences, photos, and technical cards. You are the controller of this client data; we process it only on your behalf and under your instructions.

Usage and device information

We collect log data, device identifiers, browser type, IP address, and interaction events to improve performance, detect fraud, and personalize your experience.

2. How we use your information

  • Process payments, pre-authorizations, and payouts.
  • Send appointment reminders, marketing messages, and transactional alerts.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing (Square), cloud hosting, SMS delivery (Twilio), and AI services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services we request.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.

4. Data protection and security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel who require it to operate and support the Services.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials confidential.

5. Your choices and rights

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from your Settings page. Clients may opt out of SMS marketing by replying STOP or by contacting you directly. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, such as the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your data in accordance with our retention schedule.

7. Children’s privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

8. SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy

This SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your mobile phone number and text messaging consent in connection with our A2P 10DLC messaging program.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may send transactional, appointment-related, and informational text messages, such as appointment reminders, booking confirmations, cancellation notices, marketing alerts you have opted into, and customer service replies. Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity and account settings. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by texting “STOP” to the number you received our message from, and we will send a confirmation text. For help, text “HELP” to that same number, or contact us at the email address below. Supported carriers may vary and are subject to individual carrier terms and conditions. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
