Ambassador Program terms & FAQ

1. Who can join

You must be 18 or older and legally able to work in your country. You do not need to be a barber, stylist or salon owner — cosmetology and barbering students, sales reps, and anyone comfortable talking to shop owners is welcome.

You need a free Omni Shop Guardian account and a valid payout email. One ambassador account per person. Shops may not refer themselves, and you may not earn a bonus or commission on your own subscription or on accounts you control.

Applications are reviewed and are usually approved the same business day. We may decline or deactivate an account for fraud, spam, misrepresentation of the product, or violation of a platform's rules.

2. The $25 activation bonus

You earn a one-time $25 bonus for each referred shop that finishes its free trial and pays its first monthly invoice in full.

The bonus is credited automatically the moment that first payment clears — there is nothing to claim or submit. It appears in your Referred shops list and your commission ledger the same day.

One bonus per referred account, ever. Re-subscribing, upgrading, or opening a second location under the same account does not generate a second activation bonus.

3. Recurring commission

On top of the bonus, you earn 15% of every monthly subscription payment that referred shop makes, for as long as they stay subscribed.

Once you pass 100 approved referrals, your rate rises to 20% and stays there. The rate attached to each referral is locked at the time of attribution and shown in your dashboard.

Commission is calculated on the net amount actually collected — after discounts, promo codes and processing adjustments. Taxes and refunds are excluded.

4. Trials, cancellations and refunds

If a referred shop cancels during the free trial or never pays a first invoice, nothing is owed and nothing is deducted from you. There is no penalty for trials that do not convert.

If a shop cancels later, you keep every bonus and commission already earned; future commission simply stops with their last paid month.

If a payment is refunded, charged back, or reversed, the matching commission (and the activation bonus, when the first month itself is reversed) is debited from your next payout. We do not claw back money already paid to you beyond that offset.

5. Payout timing

Earnings accumulate as a pending balance. Payout batches run monthly for any balance over the $20 minimum; smaller balances roll to the following month.

Payouts are sent digitally to your payout email and typically arrive within one business day of the batch running.

US ambassadors must submit a W-9 before payouts can be released once lifetime earnings reach $500. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, and you are responsible for your own taxes. We issue a 1099 where required by law.

6. How attribution works

Every ambassador gets a unique referral code, link and QR poster. When a shop opens your link, the code is stored in their browser and attached to their account the moment they sign up.

Attribution is locked at sign-up and cannot be edited afterwards — by you, by the shop, or by support — which protects your credit from being reassigned.

If a shop touches more than one ambassador link, the last link clicked before sign-up wins. A shop that signs up with no code attached cannot be attributed later.

Paid advertising on our brand name, unsolicited spam, impersonating Omni Shop Guardian staff, and promising features or pricing we do not offer will void attribution and may end your participation.

7. Program changes

We may update commission rates, bonus amounts, or these terms. Changes apply going forward only — referrals already attributed keep their locked rate, and bonuses already earned are always paid.

Either side can end participation at any time. If we end it without cause, any balance you have already earned is paid out in the next batch.
